An expansion to Samson’s innovative AirLine wireless series, the AirLine WXD Wind Instrument System is available at major MI retailers in Q3 of 2025 for $199.99 MAP.

The AirLine WXD Wind Instrument System is a digital wireless wind instrument microphone system designed to provide clear sound and freedom of movement for live brass and woodwind performers. The compact and lightweight transmitter acts as an extension of your instrument to capture a clear and consistent performance, while the receiver offers a battery-powered, plug-and-play design for easy setup and clear sound.

Reliable Wireless Performance

The AirLine WXD Wind Instrument System operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency range for clear, convenient digital wireless sound comparable to analog systems. The receiver easily syncs with the transmitter for easy setup. With 100' range of operation, the system covers most stage areas, allowing performers to move freely without feeling tied down. And with up to 6 hours of combined battery life, the WXD Wind Instrument System provides a worry-free wireless solution for all your gigs.

Compact Transmitter

The WXDT transmitter is designed to easily clip onto the bell of wind instruments to provide easy freedom for any horn player. The microphone’s gooseneck allows the mic element to be quickly positioned in the best place to clearly capture the instrument’s sound. The transmitter and mic together are lightweight enough not to burden the performer, even during long performances.

Easy Connectivity

The WXDR receiver is designed to plug into any mixer or PA speaker's XLR input for easy wireless setup. The unit features a built-in battery that lasts for up to 6 hours to last through any gig, and can be easily recharged via USB-C. The compact design can fit inside most wind instrument cases for easy storage and travel.
