NAMM 2025: Samson Expands MediaOne Series with New MX3BT / MX5BT Powered Studio Monitors with Bluetooth®

Samson, an industry pioneer in professional audio products, announces the new MediaOne MX3BT/MX5BT Powered Studio Monitors with Bluetooth® at NAMM 2025. An expansion to Samson’s popular MediaOne Studio Monitor Series, the MX3BT ($99.99 MAP) and MX5BT ($149.99 MAP) will be available at major MI retailers in Q2 of 2025.

The MediaOne MXBT Series of desktop studio monitors are pairs of bi-amped speakers designed for multimedia applications. With balanced 1/4" audio inputs, a 1/8" Aux input, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and headphone outputs, the MXBT series are designed to fit into any home setup to provide clean and easy monitoring for any media project. Available as MX3BT with 3" woofers, and MX5BT with 5.25" woofers, both systems pushing out a total of 80 watts continuous power.

Studio-Quality Sound

The MX3BT/MX5BT Powered Studio Monitors are a versatile speaker solution for any audio or multimedia application, providing studio-grade sound and versatile connectivity to match any setup. Each speaker is a bi-amped configuration featuring a polypropylene woofer with a butyl surround and a silk-dome tweeter for clear frequency separation, while the ports at the rear of the enclosures allow for a smooth bass response.

Versatile Design

MediaOne MX3BT/MX5BT monitors sport a compact, sleek design engineered to fit into most spaces and multimedia rigs. A two-pole EQ allows for the speakers' lows and highs to be separately adjusted, allowing the monitors’ sound to be tuned for use in any environment. When you need to listen privately, there is a 1/8" output near the front-facing volume controls that mutes the speakers and allows for monitoring via headphones.

Plug and Play

The MediaOne MX3BT/MX5BT monitors can be easily wired into most setups. Dual 1/4" TRS inputs, as well as the MX5BT’s stereo RCA inputs, make them easily compatible with the majority of modern audio interfaces and mixers, while the Aux input provides a secondary connection for devices with a 1/8" analog output. The speakers also have Bluetooth connectivity, enabling audio streaming from smart devices to round out a full suite of connectivity options.
