NAMM 2025: Samson Expands S-Max Series with New Mic Splitter
Samson, an industry pioneer in professional audio products, announces the new Mic Splitter microphone signal splitter box at NAMM 2025. An expansion to Samson’s S-Max Series, the Mic Splitter will be available at major MI retailers in Q2 of 2025 for $79.99 MAP.
Mic Splitter is a signal routing device for running one audio output to two separate audio inputs. It also features an additional direct output and individual ground lifts for each split output, as well as a mic/line gain toggle on the input.
An Easy Split
Mic Splitter delivers easy signal splitting and routing options for any audio rig, with two parallel XLR outputs and a direct XLR output to feed mixers, audio interfaces, or other recording or mixing devices simultaneously for parallel processing or streaming and recording purposes. The parallel outputs also each have separate ground lifts to ensure you can flip a switch to eliminate hum for a clean sound on either output.
More Than Just Mics
The XLR/TRS combo input on Mic Splitter has a mic/line gain toggle, allowing for easy use with more than just microphones. Mono line-level signals such as keyboards, auxiliary mixer outputs, or backing tracks can also be run through Mic Splitter for easy parallel routing.
S-Max Durability
The all-metal chassis provides Mic Splitter with a compact form factor and solid durability, perfect for both studio use and touring. Being as small in size as the other Samson S-Max series signal boxes, Mic Splitter is perfect for smaller studio setups or portable recording or touring rigs.
Key Features:
- XLR/TRS combo input
