Isaiah Weatherspoon

Isaiah Weatherspoon, also known as “Spoon” is a drum virtuoso and music producer currently based in the Philadelphia area. Isaiah gravitated to music at the very early age of 4, when his parents saw that he had a God-given gift for music and rhythm. By age 16, Isaiah had already performed on the drums with some of Philadelphia’s most notable musicians in the region's most well known music venues.

These early experiences coupled with Isaiah’s desire to continuously learn and develop, led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he received a Bachelor's degree in Music Production and Engineering. Since then, Isaiah has had the awesome privilege of performing and/or recording drums for notable musical artists and legends such as, Lizz Wright, Greg Phillinganes, Laurin Talese, Leehom Wang, and Sister Sledge. Isaiah has also published two of his own children’s music coloring books titled, “Music Is Cool” and “Music Is Cool 2” to get the youth more involved in music and the arts. Isaiah’s books are available to view and purchase on Amazon. Isaiah is continuing to pursue his goals and vision of growing as a music professional through hard work, consistency and determination.
