The Q2U dynamic microphone is designed to capture clear and accurate sound, thanks to its cardioid (unidirectional) polar pattern. This pattern focuses the microphone's pickup on the sound coming from directly in front of the mic, while rejecting noise from the rear and sides. This helps to minimize ambient or room noise, ensuring that your recordings are as clean and distraction-free as possible.

Q2U is the ideal microphone choice for any podcaster, especially if you’re frequently on-the-go or building a podcast studio on a budget. Onboard, high-quality analog-to-digital converters provide excellent audio reproduction when connecting directly to a computer or mobile device via USB. Alternatively, it can be plugged directly into a mixer or audio interface with an XLR cable. You can also use both connections simultaneously for recording a live event or performance.

The 1/8” (3.5mm) zero-latency headphone output with level control lets you directly monitor the audio you’re recording without any delay, and a microphone mute switch provides complete control during your projects.

The Q2U comes with a desktop tripod stand and mic clip for optimal placement when recording.  A windscreen is also provided to minimize wind noise and plosives. A USB cable and XLR cable complete the Q2U pack, giving you everything you need to get started on your next project.
